Although we lost the scenery of Richie's Rocks on account of weather, the garage proved to be a fine backdrop for the Ramble, part deux. As advertised, Dancing Dick carried the band through old favorites and a few impressive debuts.  By the time "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air" dropped, we all forgot about the storms.  Brett was really killing it on Keys, as you can see from this pic:

Meat Castle and Jack Caldwell opened. The band joined Jack Caldwell and Rich A for a performance of "Helpless" (Neil Young). No bass fires were reported at this show.

This month's release takes us to the east end of Waterbury for some Independence Day jams.  Pictures from this show depict a band with less gray hair and a few pounds lighter, but sounds equally as thunderous as you're used to.  Featuring a few welcomed rarities ("Fire in your Eyes", "The Avenue", "Such Great Heights") and the best damn Bono look-alike I've ever seen ("The Unforgettable Fire" opened, see below), this one should keep your head bobbing through the rest of the summer.

The Mayor's favorite band came out to represent the Brass City in the first downtown block party since his recent election. The party was held to help to unveil the largest mosaic in the city of Waterbury. In usual fashion, the band made believers out of some Waterbury residents and destroyed the eardrums of others. The diverse crowd offered some of the hottest dance moves I've seen in a while:

The latest addition to archive.org is another smoker from The Red Door right in the heart of the pigeons era.  While many songs are succinct and to the point, you'll find some dark and dirty (Dragging Me Down), rarities (Steam, Third Personality), classic balls-to-the-wall jams that made you like the band in the first place (Psycho Killer, Burn), and as always, stage banter that at times trumps the music itself.
