(1) During “Situation Nominal”, Brett proclaimed, “This is Richie’s Rocks. This is the Edge!”

(2) “Whipping Post” featured Bill Calabrese on lead vocals
(3) “Tombstone Blues”, “Up on Cripple Creek”, “Johnny B. Goode”, “Tennessee Jed”, “China Cat Sunflower”, “I Know You Rider”, “Loving Cup”, “Ophelia”, and “The Weight” all featured Rich “Dancing Dick” Atkins on lead vocals.

(4) Rich dedicated “Up On Cripple Creek” to Bill Calabrese and gave a shout out to Lon Smith and his son

(5) Prior to “Johnny B. Goode”, the children in attendance requested the band play a “good song”

(6) Rich dedicated “Tennessee Jed” to Jerry Garcia, his daughters, nieces and nephews. “All 25 of them”

(7) “China Cat Sunflower” contained a “Frankenstein” (Edgar Winter Group) tease

(8) “Ophelia” contained band introductions in which Rich referred to the band as “Diamond Dave, Bill, er, Brett Calabrese, and Earthquake Jake”

(9) “The Weight” also contained band introductions by Rich

(10) “Maneater” and “The Power of Love” featured Jim Sillery on lead vocals

(11) Brett joined Dave on the drum solo section of “Frankenstein”

This show was played at the very first “Dancing Dick’s Midnight Ramble” at Rich’s house in Watertown, CT. This show featured the debuts of “Johnny B. Goode”

(Chuck Berry), “Tennessee Jed”, China Cat Sunflower”, and “I Know You Rider” (The Grateful Dead). No bass fires were reported at this show.
